HARVARD FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT MEETING MINUTES OCTOBER 2018

1. Regular Meeting Call to order (7:00 p.m.)
2. Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence
3. Roll Call- Trustee Condon, Trustee Hugg, and Trustee Kelnhofer, were present.
4. Motion to approve the agenda. (Hugg) Seconded by Kelnhofer. Vote 3-0
5. Audience Participation- None
6. Secretary’s report- Approval of Minutes

President Condon advises that this report and minutes will be approved in the November Trustees meeting.

7. Payment of Bills

Motion to table payment of Bills to November Trustees Meeting. (Condon) Seconded by Hugg.

Roll Call vote; Trustee Kelnhofer-yes, Trustee Hugg-yes, Trustee Condon-yes.

8. Law Firm Authorization(Condon)
   1. Discussion around the collective Board approval in the event of contacting the Harvard Fire Protection District’s Attorneys, to eliminate the possibility of a single Board Member acting alone.
   2. Trustee Hugg suggests having this point more structured and in writing.
9. Board Appointed Committees (Hugg)
10. Trustee Hugg outlines his proposed Standing Committee plan. Condon suggests to table this topic to the November meeting.
11. Accept letter of Resignation from FF Boone.

14. Convene a “Closed Session” to discuss issues covered under the Illinois Compiled Statutes, General Provisions, Open Meetings Act, ILCS 120/2/c/1. Motion to adjourn to Closed Session (Hugg) Seconded by Kelnhofer.
